If you already have a MyAccount or App account, simply download the app and log in. You can find the links to all our apps Here (it is best to open this link on your smartphone or tablet device).
If you are a new customer without an existing MyAccount or App login, you will need to download the app and create an account before logging in. You can select ‘create an account’ in the app menu section. Please use the same email address you used to purchase your subscription with.
If you have any problems logging in, you may need to reset your password or alternatively, please email bauer@subscription.co.uk and we’ll be back in touch.

Yes, you will if you are an active subscriber. If you switch to another device, simply download the app again and log into your existing account.
Please note that the latest digital issue may not become available on the same day and/or at the same time as the print copy arrives. The digital issue will be available from the on-sale date.
If it doesn’t show, please email appsupport_uk@bauermedia.com and let us know.
You will need to be online to download or stream the issue. However, once downloaded, you will be able to read your magazine offline. Just tap the ‘READ’/‘VIEW’ button.
If your subscription is active, you’ll be able to access all content in the app. But if you cancel, from the expiry date of your subscription, you will lose access to all content and any related member benefits and rewards.
Note: Customers who purchased a subscription or single issues prior to our major update released in March 2022 should contact our support email if they are unable to access digital content they purchased historically - appsupport_uk@bauermedia.com.
If you wish to delete any digital issues, To do this, please:
You can also tap on ‘Restore All Purchases’ from the app menu, to re-access and download all previously deleted issues at a later date.
Yes. To do this, just tap the cover, and the streaming will commence. Please note that pages may take longer to render doing this. Also, you may incur increased data usage costs from your network provider. We would always recommend downloading your editions via WiFi and never via a mobile network, but the option’s there if you wish.
If you have recently updated your magazine app, you will need to log in to be able access the issue archive and to download any issue’s.
Ultimately, if you just want some help with the app, please contact us by selecting ‘Contact Us’ in the app menu, write your message and click send. This method of contact will help us detect errors. Alternatively, email us at appsupport_uk@bauermedia.com. We will be back in touch with you within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
As soon as your digital subscription has been confirmed by an email order acknowledgement, you will be able to access the latest issue and all previous issues in the app. From that point onwards, you will receive all future issues as long as your subscription remains active.
After you have purchased a digital magazine - whether it is a subscription or single issue, you may download your issues in the app as many times as you like at no additional cost. Please note that this is only accessible in the app.
Physical gifts attached to the front cover of a print magazine cannot be offered to purchasers of the digital version.
The app works with any operating system from iOS 14 & up and Android OS 5-11. It also works with any device that has a 64-bit processor, or greater. Older devices with 32-bit processors and older operating systems may NOT be supported.
If you have any questions on this, please email Appsupport_uk@bauermedia.com and we’ll advise further.
You might want to consider removing some previously downloaded issues to free up space on the device’s storage.
To do this, please:
You will still be able to read that issue in the future. You’ll just have to download it again at a later date if you wish to read it when not connected to the internet.
The login section of the app is for customers who have bought issues or a subscription via our own Great Magazines website. It is NOT for customers who have purchased issues via Apple iTunes or Google Play Wallet.
If you are a Great Magazines customer and you are trying to login but it’s failing, with the app telling you it doesn’t recognise your password, or email, then the best thing to do is get in touch with the Great Magazines customer service team, who’ll be able to look at your specific account and tell you what’s going on.
This is how to get in touch with them:
You’ll need to speak with the Great Magazines support team, who may need to reset your account. You can get in touch with them via bauer@subscription.co.uk
There is a limit of four devices that can be used to access any one Great Magazines subscription. If you’ve surpassed this, you’ll need to get into touch with our customer support team, who can reset your account for you. You can get in touch with them via bauer@subscription.co.uk – they will be back in touch within 24-48 hours.
A few of the older back issues are approaching 1GB in size, most are 500MB or so, which could present problems for customers with 16GB storage or less. They could also prove difficult to download by customers over slower-speed internet connections.
The file sizes of older back issues are large because they were made using a different software before being imported into this new app. The file sizes of all back issues are actually the same as they were in the previous app – unfortunately, we cannot reduce the size of back issues dated before January 2017.
Also, at this moment in time, issues will not download in the background. So please, use a strong broadband connection when downloading larger back issues and try not to navigate away from the app during the download process.
Yes! Just make sure you download them fully first over a good WiFi connection. Once downloaded, they will store on your device and can be read offline.
Yes, but we do NOT recommend it. Some of the file sizes are large and this will use up a lot of data. Depending on the data deal you have with your network supplier, you may be charged to download over a mobile data network. This cost could be considerable.
Also, if you’re abroad, we would definitely not recommend downloading over a mobile network. Our advice would always be to ensure you download over a safe and secure WiFi network – the better the speed of the connection, the faster your download will complete.
The app works with any operating system from iOS 14 & up and Android OS 5-11. It also works with any device that has a 64-bit processor, or greater. Older devices with 32-bit processors and older operating systems may NOT be supported. If you try and download an issue using any of the older devices or operating systems, the app is likely to crash. If you’re using supported devices / operating systems, yet are still having difficulty downloading issues, please follow these tips:
Also, please check the available storage space on your device. To download a single digital edition, we’d advise you need 750MB free for a smooth download. Some of our digital editions – back issues especially, that might have been made in older software – could take up 500MB or so, though this is very unusual.
Check how many apps your device has running at once. If a number of apps remain launched & open on your device, it can take up the device’s available memory and make it tricky to download a digital edition of a magazine. Ideally, only have one or two apps running simultaneously when you’re downloading a digital magazine.
If you have any questions on this, or if the app keeps crashing even though you’re using a supported device and operating system, please email appsupport_uk@bauermedia.com and we’ll advise further.
Alternatively, delete the app and then redownload it, following the below steps.
Apple users: go to your app within your devices home screen. Hold your finger down on the app icon and it will start to shake – tap the ‘x’ to delete it. Then go back into the app store and re-download the magazine app. Please note, you will lose previously downloaded issues. To access them again you’ll need to login again.
Android users: go to your app within your devices home screen. Hold your finger down on the app icon and it will pop up with an option to uninstall. Click ‘Uninstall’ and then click ‘ok’. Go back to the Google Play Store app and re-download the magazine app. Please note, you will lose previously downloaded issues. To access them again you’ll need to login again.
If you bought your issues / subscription via the Great Magazines website, please log in to access your issues. If you do not have an account, you will need to create an account first.
NOTE: This form is ONLY for Great Magazines customers, NOT for iTunes or Google Play customers.
If you’re having problems logging in, please email bauer@subscription.co.uk and give your full name and the title of the magazine you’re trying to access, along with your customer number, if you have it. Outline what the problem is and what the app is telling you.
From time to time, this can happen: usually after you’ve updated your app or the operating system your device is running on.
If you bought your magazines via your iTunes/Google Wallet account, please try this:
