All our paper is certified by FSC or PEFC. These certifications ensure responsible forest management practices, protecting biodiversity and promoting healthy forests. For an even greener choice, consider our digital subscription options, eliminating the need for paper altogether!
Exploring vegetable-based inks
At the printers, some of the ink is derived from vegetables with options for more sustainable ink options continuously being investigated.
Zero wastage in our supply chain
No part is wasted! Bark and offcuts are used as biomass fuel at on-site plants, all paper waste is gathered and repulped.
Reducing plastic
We are working with Frontline, Bauer’s trusted distribution partner to switch the packaging on all our magazine subscription titles from plastic coverings to paper wrap. We estimate this will save 37 tonnes of plastic every year!
Digital magazines
By choosing digital, you eliminate the need for all of the above, including production, transportation and potential waste from physical copies. Plus you’ll gain instant access to your favourite magazines anytime, anywhere!
We plant up to 3,000 trees a year
For every honest customer review that we receive via our Feefo reviews platform, Great Magazines will fund the planting of a tree, (up to 250 trees per month), contributing to reforestation efforts and creating a positive impact on the environment.
