The sale and purchase of magazines (whether individually or by a subscription/membership) via Greatmagazines or any other authorised partner who sells subscriptions on our behalf are strictly for personal, non-commercial use only. The reselling of subscriptions/memberships, complimentary gifts included with the subscription or individual magazines is strictly prohibited and may result in the order being cancelled by us.

January Sale / Special Offers

The offer closes on 2 February 2025. Subscriptions will start with the next available issue. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Trial offers are only available on a recurring payment and will auto-renew to a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month print, digital or print+ subscription option based on the product.  If you wish to cancel before the end of your trial period, please notify customer services at least 10 days before the end of your trial. Should the next payment have already been taken by the time you cancel, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a refund. Any subsequent payments are non-refundable, and any cancellations will be from the next payment date.


Christmas / Special Offers (ended)

The trial offers of 12 issues for £14.99/£19.99, 6 issues for £19.99, or 6 issues for £14.99 will auto-renew on a 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month recurring payment thereafter. Your subscription will start with the next available issue. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Trial offers are only available on recurring payments and UK customers only. The trial offers will close on 29th December 2024.


Short term or trial subscription offers

Sometimes we offer a magazine subscription by recurring payment for a shorter time period, or just a few issues. This means that you will receive the first few issues for a discounted price. The issues you receive during this trial period are covered by your first recurring payment. Please note your next payment is taken in advance of the last copy of the trial period being sent. This is because all subscription payments are made in advance of the copies being sent to maintain continuity of the subscription. Should you decide that you do not wish to continue with the subscription you will need to cancel the next payment immediately after the first payment has been taken. However, once the 2nd payment has been claimed from your bank account the subscription will continue until cancelled by yourself at the bank and/or ourselves. Trial subscriptions are limited to three per person in any 12-month time frame. They cannot be for the same magazine and we reserve the right to cancel and refund any subscriptions that are over and above this personal limit or are for the same magazine.

If you wish to cancel before the end of your trial period, please notify customer services at least 10 days before the end of your trial. Should the next payment have already been taken by the time you cancel, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a refund. Any subsequent payments are non-refundable, and any cancellations will be from the next payment date. 


Recurring Payment Methods

A recurring payment method is where the payment recurs at the specified period. For example, an annual recurring payment will recur each year. The payment term will be specified before, during and after your purchase which includes confirmation on your order acknowledgement email or letter. Subscriptions/Memberships purchased by a recurring payment will not receive renewal reminders.

There is a difference in our one off payments and recurring payment options as we include a small additional cost in the one off payments to cover the administration costs of renewing these subscriptions via postal letters and e-mails. This cost is applied to all one off payment types which includes debit and credit cards, cheques and PayPal payments. We ask that you enter into a recurring payment agreement with the understanding that your subscription will continue for a minimum period of 12 months’ even if the frequency of payment is for a shorter period (for example quarterly).

Once a payment has been collected and the 14-day cooling off period has elapsed, no refund* will be made and any cancellation will be from the next claim date of the payment. *Unless exceptional circumstances apply, please see Cancellation and Refunds section for more details.

During your subscription/membership term we reserve the right to increase your payment, however we’ll notify you prior to changes by email or by post.

There are several payment methods you can use to make a recurring payment:

Direct Debit Once a Direct Debit Agreement is completed and accepted, it remains active until cancelled. This means that we will continue to take the payment due until the Agreement is cancelled by you at your bank and/or with ourselves. Unless we change any information on the Direct Debit schedule (term, claim date or payment) we will not send a reminder the next payment is due. Once a payment has been collected, no refund will be made and any cancellation will be from the next claim date of the payment. You have the right to cancel your Direct Debit in accordance with Direct Debit Guarantee below. If you do cancel, you will receive only the issues you have already paid for.

The Direct Debit Guarantee This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits. If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit Bauer Consumer Media Ltd (owner of Greatmagazines and publisher of all the magazines on this site) will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request Bauer Consumer Media Ltd to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request. If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by Bauer Consumer Media Ltd or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society. If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Bauer Consumer Media Ltd asks you to. You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.

Continuous Credit/Debit Card payments are where we take the money from your chosen card on a recurring basis and your subscription will renew automatically for the period stated on your order confirmation. If there are any changes to the amount of your Payment, Bauer Consumer Media Ltd will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. You have the right to cancel your continuous card payment and must do this at your bank and/or with ourselves. If you do cancel, you will receive only the issues you have already paid for.

Recurring PayPal payments are where you consent to us deducting the subscription payment from your PayPal Account or Nominated Payment Source. Each payment is deducted for the time period (ie. annual, quarterly, monthly or 6 months) as stated on your order confirmation. The payment will automatically be deducted when due (for the same time period) until you cancel your subscription. In accordance with the Recurring Payments and Billing Agreement you can cancel your recurring subscription at any time up to three (3) working days prior to the scheduled date of the automatic payment (Termination Date). If you fail to cancel your recurring subscription by the Termination Date (next automatic payment date), you acknowledge and agree you will be automatically charged on the scheduled date for the agreed payment amount. If you do cancel, you will receive only the issues you have already paid for. If there are any changes to the amount of your payment, Bauer Consumer Media Ltd will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.

One off Payment Methods

A One off payment is where the full payment is taken immediately at the time of purchase. Once a payment has been made, no refund will be given if outside of the 14-day cooling period. This starts once you have received your order confirmation.

There are several payment methods you can use to make a one-off payment:

Credit/Debit Card payments will be taken immediately and show as 'Bauer Consumer Media' on your statements.

When paying for a subscription via your Credit/debit card your subscription is usually for a minimum period of 12 months. If the offer period is different then the number of issues will be shown on the offer page.

PayPal payments will be taken immediately. Once you have reviewed your order you will be taken via the PayPal site to complete your payment. Once your payment is successful you will be redirected back to the Greatmagazines order confirmation page. The PayPal payment will show as 'Bauer Media' on your account. If you have any issues with your PayPal payment please file a dispute through the usual PayPal channels.


Voucher codes

Voucher code discounts are applied directly at the checkout and your discount will be confirmed before and after payment. Terms and conditions vary and will be stated on all promotional marketing material; this includes minimum value, brand and offer exclusions and voucher expiry dates. If you are using a voucher code on a recurring subscription the discount is only applicable for the first payment of the subscription, payments will then continue at the original advertised rate. Voucher codes are not valid on renewals for subscriptions.


Exclusive Subscriber discounts

Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other money off voucher or gifted/discount offer promoted by Bauer Media. Offers cannot be used to renew an existing subscription/membership. Selected magazines may not be available in this promotion.


Digital Subscription

If your subscription is active, you’ll be able to access all content in the app. But if you cancel, from the expiry date of your subscription you will lose access to all content and any related member benefits and rewards.

Note: Customers who purchased a subscription or single issues prior to our major update released in March 2022, should contact our support email if they are unable to access digital content they purchased historically - appsupport_uk@bauermedia.com 


Magazine Delivery

Print single issue purchases will usually be delivered to the UK within 10 working days unless stated otherwise. Some issues are sold prior to the issue on-sale so please add on the delivery time onto the issue sale date. For orders outside of the UK please allow up to 10 days for delivery.

Due to the closure of postal offices and delivery couriers, we ask you to allow an additional 5 working days for your special edition issue(s) and/or print single issues to arrive over the festive period and bank holidays.

Print magazine subscriptions will either start with the next available issue or the issue you selected at the checkout. Although we will do our utmost to ensure that your magazine is delivered at the same time it is available in the shops (or sooner) it is possible on some occasions it may be unavoidably delayed. If this is the case, we would ask that you please allow an extra 5 days for delivery before contacting us.

Delivery of print magazines to subscribers outside of the UK takes up to 21 working days (excludes weekends and Public Holidays).

Deliveries to the USA – Deliveries to the USA are made via sea freight. This means that magazines can take between 6-8 weeks to be received from the date of publication. 

Digital Single issues are available as both current and back issues. As soon as you complete your order, instructions on how to access your issue immediately will be sent in your order confirmation.


Single issue and Special Edition magazine orders

Once an order for a single issue magazine (print or digital) or special edition has been paid for, under the exemptions within the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013, the right to cancel does not apply and no 14 day cooling off period will be applicable to the order.


Magazine subscriptions with a gift

Gifts are only available when you subscribe directly with the publisher (Bauer Media) by phone or online at Greatmagazines.co.uk.

If you purchase a subscription which has a gift included, please allow up to 28 days for delivery of the gift, which is sent under separate cover from the magazine. If you bought the subscription as a gift for someone else, any gifts will be delivered to you, the purchaser. We are currently unable to send gifts direct to the magazine recipient. *Excluding the Grazia Beauty Club Membership whereby the Grazia Beauty Box is sent directly to the recipient of the Membership. Please note, this can take 28 working days to be received.

In a very few instances we may have a gift which is out of stock, as such we reserve the right to offer an alternative gift or a 3 issue extension if stocks are in high demand or are exhausted early. Please note that due to high costs of delivery most gifts are not available to subscribers living outside the UK. Due to logistics and costs it is not possible to include the newsstand gift with the subscription issues. To compensate, subscribers receive a discount price for their magazines over the year.

No gift will be released for sending until your payment for the subscription has been received and successfully processed. If a gift is included as part of the subscription offer, we reserve the right to request the return of the gift in the event of an early cancellation of the subscription

If you are an existing subscriber please note there are certain gifted offers that you will not be able to renew on. T&C’s for these offers will clearly state existing subscribers cannot renew on that offer.

The reselling of subscriptions and or memberships complimentary gifts included with the subscription or individual magazines is strictly prohibited and may result in the order being cancelled by us.


Cancellation and Refunds

The minimum subscription/membership term is 12 months, following the 14-day cooling off period.

Trial offers: If you wish to cancel before the end of your trial period, please notify customer services at least 10 days before the end of your trial. Should the next payment have already been taken by the time you cancel, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a refund. Any subsequent payments are non-refundable, and any cancellations will be from the next payment date. 

Refunds: Once a payment has been collected, no refund will be made and any cancellation will be from the next claim date of the payment. *Unless exceptional circumstances apply

*Exceptional circumstances would include death/illness or hardship.

Refunds direct to your bank/card can take between 5 – 7 working days. In some circumstances, a cheque will be issued which can take up to 14 days to be issued and sent.


Personal information

If we hold your email details you will receive emails from us regarding your subscription. This includes emails about your subscription/membership service plus great reward offers and opportunities for you to get more involved with the brand. If you provide us with a phone number, we will only use this to contact you about the service and delivery of your subscription.
