Has a man ever exposed himself to you in public? A shocking 1-in-10 women in the UK have been victims of indecent exposure, but many don’t report it, perhaps thinking the police wouldn’t take it seriously — for the crime often known as ‘flashing’ is easily trivialised with jokes about dirty old men in raincoats.

Yet indecent exposure is actually a serious sexual offence with a prison sentence of up to two years. If ignored, it can have devastating consequences. We reveal four men who ‘got away’ with exposing themselves to women, over and over again… and went on to commit brutal rapes and murders.

It’s a shocking truth, but one we can all hopefully learn from.
