Bella Royal Special November 2023

As the nights draw in and 2023 comes to a close, we reflect on a year filled with highs and lows for our royal family in this year’s Bella Monthly Festive Special.

The family were in the spotlight back in May for the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III – and the pomp and ceremony that coincided with such a momentous occasion will be remembered for years to come. From the glittering Coronation service at Westminster Abbey, to King Charles and Queen Camilla’s procession in the Gold State Carriage, it was an event like no other. The crowds lined the streets of London while the royals – including Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh and the new Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five – viewed the flyover from the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Prince Harry flew over from the US for the Coronation, but only four months earlier he had released his memoir Spare, which caused shockwaves. He opened up about his struggles growing up as a prince, criticised his father and stepmother Camilla, and featured details of a feud between Kate and Meghan.
