Depending on how you put it, walking 1000 miles sounds like a towering achievement or a trivial effort. It’s enough to see you across the Gobi desert, yet 2.74 miles a day hardly seems worth writing home about. Both things are true. There’s nothing back-breaking or SAS-impressing about it, and yet it’s something only a vanishingly small proportion of the population can say they have done. And so only a few will be able to vouch for the fact that it will change your life. You may not think there’s much wrong with your life as it is (I didn’t). But after completing 1000 miles in 12 months I feel miles better than I have in a decade. Huge things happen by tiny increments after all. It’s just a question of doing it.
Print magazine subscriptions will either start with the next available issue or the issue you selected at the checkout. Although we will do our utmost to ensure that your magazine is delivered at the same time it is available in the shops (or sooner) it is possible on some occasions it may be unavoidably delayed. If this is the case, we would ask that you please allow an extra 5 days for delivery before contacting us. Delivery of print magazines to subscribers outside of the UK takes up to 15 working days (excludes weekends and Public Holidays).
For a digital subscriptions, as soon as your subscription has been confirmed by an confirmation email, you will be able to access the latest issue. From that point onwards, you will receive all future issues as long as your subscription remains active. Please note that you will not be able to access any of the issues that came out prior to the start of your subscription.
Outside of the UK - Speed of delivery to subscribers outside the UK obviously depends on the quality of service provided by the various organizations along the way. The following airmail delivery times should be calculated from the date the magazine is published and are approximate: Delivery of print magazines to subscribers outside of the UK takes up to 15 working days (excludes weekends and Public Holidays)
If you purchase a subscription which has a gift included, please allow up to 28 days for delivery of the gift, which is sent under separate cover from the magazine. If you bought the subscription as a gift for someone else, any gifts will be delivered to you, the purchaser. We are currently unable to send gifts direct to the magazine recipient.
